South Austin Church currently supports We are a community where the hopeless find hope, the lost find guidance, the hurting find healing, the struggling find help, and people serve others in love. We are a nonprofit that has a free food pantry serving an average of 150 families per week; offers our building to the community to house four recovery groups, youth and family scouting programs, health screenings, trade education classes, and affordable options for family celebrations; provides post incarceration and refugee support, utility assistance, immigration legal workshops, and turkeys, pies, and all the sides for 1000 families in need for Thanksgiving, which we fund by selling pumpkins and by generous partnerships in our community; and we are a multicultural, multilingual church with services in English, Spanish, and Kinyarwanda.
